Welcome to Lady on the Tramp
When my husband and I met way back in 2005 we bonded over an impulse to eat up the whole world. He spoke German. I wanted to speak everything. In the time we knew each other, we each studied, traveled, and were able to experience living in different countries.
Of course, things settle down. We did the responsible thing; we got jobs, paid our bills and saved our pennies. We didn't totally stop exploring--we went on some pretty cool vacations, together and separately--but going on vacation to a place isn't the same as really getting to know it. After we got married, we decided we didn't want our exploring days to be over. We thought about some places we could go for a year or so, and in the end wound up securing a visa to travel and work in New Zealand.
So, after some farewells, a plane ticket, and a conversation with a friend who appreciates a good pun as much as I do, here we are! Welcome to Lady on the Tramp.
